The soul-inspired pop singer/songwriter, worship leader and producer is also an accomplished pianist who re-recorded new piano and vocal versions from her six-song Centricity Music debut EP. Amen. Layne will release a new single every two weeks until November 10th Amen (on piano) starting today (September 29) with “Amen (piano version)“, which is available on digital and streaming outlets worldwide. The full piano version is expected to be released on December 15th.

Inspired by the simple kindness of a neighbor who waved and smiled in her neighborhood, Layne co-wrote the main and title song with successful songwriters Benji Cowart And David Spencer. “Amen,” as well as the sonic direction of the entire album, aims to be as inviting as a friend and as cohesive as a seasoned artist, with the messages behind the music drawn from her personal experience.

The Colorado Springs native, now based in Nashville, traveled extensively this summer, taking her new music to conventions and festivals across the U.S. before playing with GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning American Idol alum Danny Gokey and Austin French reunited for a 26-city national fall tour that began last week.
