The sense of family and unity at the heart of the building’s performance is a testament to not only the legendary gospel artist’s nearly 25-year career, but the way he took his community, family and band to the top by his side.
Israel has also announced pre-orders for his upcoming live album Feels Like Home: The Quarantine Worship Experience.
The album, to be released on February 26, is derived from a hugely successful live event called Israel & New Breed last year that electrified the intimate setting of # WorshipWednesdays for a three-hour concert.
Feels Like Home was broadcast live from Houghton’s sister-in-law’s New York home last November with an impressive cast of New Breed fashionable and new musicians, all of whom agreed to quarantine and test for COVID-19 before the rally.
